I try to solve all my webhosting related issues with the free version of Google Apps for Your Domain. The only thing I have is a registered domain (birger.nl) and full control over the dns records. I have had some issues with setting things up, here you can read about them.

Homepage

This is my homepage. You probably reached it through www.birger.nl or birger.nl. I would like to modify my DNS records to forward www.birger.nl and birger.nl to the GAFYD site. However, to do so would require to change the A records and have them point to ghs.google.com. But A records can only point to IP addresses... So for now I included a page redirect in the index.html. If anyone knows how to solve this, please drop me a message!

Email

I want to have one mail account and have all mail directed at *@birger.nl delivered to it. However, when I created my first user for my domain I named it admin@birger.nl. So this became my primary e-mail adress and is the default 'from' adress for all my outgoing mail. I would like this to be mail@birger.nl so I'll have to create another account and try to get rid of the first one...
